From your course home page, use the following steps to set up a forum.
- Navigate to the chapter/module that you'd like to add the forum to.
- Click on Add an assignment or resource.
- Select Forum.
- Enter the Forum Name field.
- Enter the Description field.
- Check Display description on course page.
- Under Subscription and tracking, change Subscription mode to Forced Subscription.
- Under Ratings, change Aggregate type to Maximum Rating.
- Enter the amount you want the Maximum Rating to be.
- If you want to set a due date, check Restrict ratings to items with dates in this range, and fill in the From and To fields.
