Welcome to myBusinessCourse's Integrated Excel
Integrated Excel allows students to complete myBusinessCourse assignments, quizzes, and exams using Microsoft Excel. It is designed to be used in conjunction with myBusinessCourse. Let's take a quick look through the add-in.
Main Panel
The main panel is what you see when you are entering your answers. Various resources may be available on the panel.
- If enabled, Check My Work will check your answers and provide feedback.
- If enabled, Freeze Data Rows will freeze the data rows, allowing you to scroll through the current Excel question without losing sight of the data.
- Guides will display any guides relevant to the question.
- Legend will display the cell legend to help you understand what each type of cell represents.
Check My Work View
The Check My Work View will show whether your answers are correct or incorrect and provide feedback. You won't be able to change your answers in this view.
- If you have any blank normal-graded cells, they will autofill with zeros.
- If you have uncompleted drop-down graded cells, a clickable notice will appear at the top of the panel that when clicked, will take you to the first uncompleted answer.
- If the Excel question is graded by formulas, and you have not entered a formula answer in place of a value, a notice will appear showing all cells that require a formula answer.
Review Work
The Review Work panel is only accessible after you have submitted your work. If you are reviewing a submitted attempt, this panel will show whether the submitted answers are correct or incorrect.
Additional Information
Always at the top of the add-in, you will have access to two buttons.
- Clicking the question mark button will open this introduction up for the current view. If you would like a refresher on the entire add-in, you may select Retake Introduction in the pop-up.
- Clicking the wrench button will open the Taskpane Settings where you can configure the add-in to your liking with the available settings.
