Option 1) Create an Assignment

  1. From within your course, select Course Content in the left navigation menu.
  2. Select the folder you would like to create the assignment in.
  3. Select Add an assignment or resource.
  4. Enter the required information on the Settings and Timing pages.

  5. On the Questions page, select Integrated Excel from the Make a Selection drop-down menu.

    NOTE: You may have different options depending on the book you are using.



     
  6. Click on a question you would like to preview, then select Preview.
  7. Select Open question in Excel for the web.

Option 2) Preview an Assignment

  1. From within your course, select Course Content in the left navigation menu.
  2. Select the folder your assignment is located in.
  3. Click on the name of the assignment.
  4. Select Preview assignment now or Continue the last preview.
  5. Navigate to the Integrated Excel question in the assignment preview.
  6. Select Open question in Excel for the web.

Option 3) Edit an Existing Assignment

  1. From within your course, select Course Content in the left navigation menu.
  2. Select the folder your assignment is located in.
  3. Select the Edit button to the right of your assignment.
  4. Select Edit Questions.
  5. On the Questions page, select the magnifying glass to the right of the Integrated Excel question.


  6. Select Open question in Excel for the web.

Option 4) View the Question Bank

  1. From within your course, select Course Settings from the left navigation menu.
  2. Select Question Bank.

  3. Select Integrated Excel from the Make a Selection drop-down menu.
  4. Click on a question you would like to preview, then select Preview.
  5. Select Open question in Excel for the web.

Instructor Preview Options

To practice the assignment yourself, enter in an acceptable formula as your answer or select an option from the drop-down menu when necessary. For more information on grading with Integrated Excel, see the following guide: Grading with Integrated Excel

NOTE: Nothing entered within the assignment preview will be saved.

You can select Check My Work in the myBusinessCourse panel on the right side of your screen to check your answers. See our myBusinessCourse Panel guide for more information on it. The Check My Work option will be available if it is turned on in the assignment settings.

You can select Fill in the correct responses to see the correct answers. The first acceptable formula in our list of acceptable formulas will show as the correct answer.

You can clear your work by selecting Clear Work.

To get a better view, you can close the myBusinessCourse panel. To do this, click the X in the top right corner of the myBusinessCourse panel. To re-open the panel, click on the myBusinessCourse icon at the top.


Preview Solutions

With Options 1, 3 and 4, you can preview the solutions. Select Submit and Show Feedback to see the solutions.
