PLEASE READ: Integration Best Practices

  • If you copied a previous D2L course, make sure you have removed all MBC assignment links in your new D2L course before integrating.
  • Any assignment setting changes (number of attempts, open/close dates, etc.) should be made in myBusinessCourse, as these will carry over to D2L.
  • Any gradebook setting changes (weights, dropping, etc.) should be made in D2L.
  • Any changes made to your assignment dates after the assignment has been embedded in D2L will not transfer. You will need to either re-embed the assignment or update the Due dates separately within D2L.
  • 0-point assignments can be embedded into your D2L course, but they will not populate in the gradebook.

  1. From any Module in your course select Existing Activities and select the myBusinessCourse Content Selection
  2. A modal appears and myBusinessCourse will load
  3. Once myBusinessCourse loads, select a course
  4. You will be prompted to select a section and confirm the integration. If all the information looks correct click the Yes, Integrate Now button
  5. You will be redirected to a Content Selection page which will contain all your myBusinessCourse chapter/modules resources.
  6. Select the resources you would like to embed in your course
  7. Scroll to the bottom and click the Embed Content button
  8. You will be redirected back to your D2L (Brightspace) content area and the myBusinessCourse content will be embedded.
  9. You can repeat this process to embed content as often as you’d like and in any content area of your D2L (Brightspace) course.
