- These steps are only for CANVAS integrations.
- You must integrate your course and embed content into Canvas before following these steps.
- The frames in Canvas can have limited sizing so the view may small or have certain parts of the pages hidden. If this is an issue, you can open the assignment or resource in a new tab for full view.
For Assignments
After embedding the assignments in Canvas using the steps in this user guide, use the following steps to have them open within a frame in Canvas rather than a new tab:
- Locate the assignment link in Canvas.
- Click on the link.
- Select Edit Assignment Settings.
- Uncheck the Load This Tool In A New Tab box.
- Select Save.
For Resources (Reading & Videos)
Note: If you have the legacy integration where you embedded resources into Canvas via Pages, you will not be able to do the following steps.
After embedding the resources in Canvas using the steps in this user guide(via Modules) , use the following steps to do something.
- Locate the resource link in Canvas.
- Click on the ellipsis button.
- Select Edit.
- Uncheck the Load This Tool In A New Tab box.
- Select Update.
