Test Bank questions are not available for download to protect the integrity of instructors' tests and exams.
Test Bank questions can be viewed and/or assigned in the following ways.
- View only, via Question Bank
- View and/or assign when building an auto-graded assignment

View Test Bank Questions
Note: With this method, questions can be viewed, but not assigned.
- From within the Course, click Course Settings to expand the menu options.
Select Question Bank. - Select Test Bank from the Question Bank dropdown menu.
- Note: Question Bank options are specific to each textbook.
- Optional: Use the additional filters to easily narrow down the questions in view.
- Click on the desired question to highlight/expand. Click Preview to view the question.
- Use Previous and Next buttons to flip from one question to another.
- To view the answer, click Fill in correct responses.
- To view detailed solutions, click Submit and Finish.
View and Assign Test Bank Questions
- Create an auto-graded assignment
OR go to the Questions screen for an existing assignment via Edit > Edit Questions. - Select Test Bank from the Question Bank dropdown menu.
- Note: Question Bank options are specific to each textbook.
- Optional: Use the additional filters to easily narrow down the questions in view.
- Click on the desired question to highlight/expand. Click Preview to view the question.
- Use Previous and Next buttons to flip from one question to another.
- To view the answer, click Fill in correct responses.
- To view detailed solutions, click Submit and Finish.
- Click Add this question to include the question on the assignment.
- NOTES regarding algorithmic versions...
- If the viewed question has algorithmic options, you will initially be viewing the Static (book) version. Clicking Add this question when viewing the Static version will add the textbook's version the assignment.
- To view/assign an algorithmic version, click Show a different version. Clicking repeatedly will flip through the algorithmic versions.
- Adding a question when viewing an Algorithmic version will assign a data set(s) different from the textbook
- You will have the option to assign one data set to all students OR varying data sets across students.
- To switch back to the Static version, click Show static.
- If the viewed question has algorithmic options, you will initially be viewing the Static (book) version. Clicking Add this question when viewing the Static version will add the textbook's version the assignment.
